Specht Physical Therapy
271 South Main Street, Providence, RI
We have all heard the phrase, a body in motion stays in motion. Unfortunately, in our world today the majority of us have become sedentary, stuck sitting at desks in front of computer screens while our muscles and joints tighten up. It’s time do something about it. Come join us to learn easy ways to assess your own mobility and some mobilization techniques to get you moving again!!!
The latest research shows that self-myofascial release can provide longer lasting benefits than stretching. At this workshop we will show you self-myofascial release techniques with foam rollers, balls and joint mobilization techniques with bands to get your body moving as it is suppose to move!
Zachary Pereira, MSPT, OCS is presenting this workshop. Zach is a physical therapist, board certified orthopedic specialist and certified in the selective functional movement assessment.
Please note: Since our workshops are done in a group format we are not able to evaluate individuals who are injured or in pain. if you have an injury or are experiencing pain then we suggest you see your doctor or physical therapist for a proper evaluation.
