The plank is a great exercise to teach stability and improve core stabilization. But if performed incorrectly, it can cause lower back or shoulder pain. We’ve reviewed the basic plank, and progressed through a change in the points of contact. In this week’s video, we’re increasing the challenge by changing your point of stability- making it harder to balance in order to engage more of your core musculature!
