Whether you run competitively or recreationally, our Running 4 Life program is designed to help you improve your form, optimize performance and reduce risk of injury.
Here at Specht Physical Therapy we treat and help prevent the common running injuries: low back pain, runner’s knee, achilles tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, iliotibial band syndrome shin splints and stress fractures. Not only do we treat them but we also deeply investigate the root of the problem and help you strengthen your body to ensure that the injury does not occur again.
Our program is designed to reduce your risk of injury, improve performance and keep you running whether you do 5ks or Marathons!
The Running 4 Life program consists of:
- Initial Evaluation: 90-minute session to examine your movement patterns, posture, strength, flexibility and video analysis of your stride. You will be given an individualized corrective exercise program that will address your specific deficits.
- 2 week follow-up: 60-minute session to chart your progress and advance your program.
- 4 week follow-up: 60-minute session for re-evaluation, video analysis and final adjustments to your exercise program.
