Improve Your Squat with These Exercises

The squat is a movement that is both commonly needed to perform the tasks of our daily lives and an important indicator of your overall physical health. Yet, by the age of adulthood most Americans have lost the natural ability to squat correctly. The risks of squatting incorrectly in the gym or in our daily activities can lead to lower back pain, knee pain, neck pain, and injuries including disc herniation, ACL tears, and tendinitis.
To get a basic understanding of what can go wrong in the motions of your squat, check out our Squat Assessment video below. Once you’ve watched the assessment video, head on down the page to see some exercises you can do that will help improve your squat and prevent injury.
